Security of files

I am looking to create a repository for documents that can only be viewed,
not amended, printed or removed from that location

In short I want to place our agreed 'purchasing prices' which I need to
remain confidential to my company, so if a person were to leave they cannot
take the whole lot of agreements with them

I am aware in Adobe you can stop somebody printing a document, but not
removing it from the location

Can you advise any software that you may think can help resolve this

What format are the documents ( .Pdf ) ? You'd have to set the ACL
on the folder for "Read" only. Depending on the app that is used to
open and access the file you still might have issues with "Cut & Paste"
from within the document.

If using Office 2007 you can use the "Mark as Final" attribute on the
file(s).

Unfortunately almost anything you do has some limitations/exposures.

Not to mention that Print Screen would also be available

Giant ones. I don't think he can anywhere near doing what he wants
with any real assurance that it will be protected the way he wants it.

This is more of a legal issue than a technical one. If you can see it on
your screen, you can take it with you. (camera phone, print screen, write it
down, memorize it, etc.) Consult an attorney and have your employees sign a
non-disclosure/non-compete agreemennt.
