LOL.

Relying on Microsoft for security is like employing a pedofile
to look after your children.

Just in case there are likely to be any lawsuits flying around, Bill Gates
is not, too my knowledge a pedofile.

Re: Fix: KB951748/Zone Alarm - Loss of connectivity

Hi All,

I also tried this fix, and it didn't work for me either. Operating
system is XP PRO.

Had to uninstall KB951748 to regain internet connectivity.

I believe that if you move the Zonealarm security from HIGH to MEDIUM
it will also fix the problem

I've just installed the new relevant ZoneAlarm version 7.0.483.000,
and the outstanding MIcrosoft updates.
Everything seems to be working ok so far. Thanks to ZoneAlarm for
their swift action.

Re: Fix: KB951748/Zone Alarm - Loss of connectivity
As of 11/10/2008 MS security update KB951748 is no longer able to be removed
from my PC. It is protected by MS.
Anybody else got any idea's? -Idea's that a non-geek can execute.

If this was the original issue with ZA and the DNS router fix, it was
simple, you upgraded ZA. MS was okay, ZA just forgot to make their 1/2
of the patch. I've had ZA since ever and it still works.
