Starting Outlook Express starts up Windows Messenger.

Starting Outlook Express always starts up Windows Messenger.

I have unchecked the "Automatically log on to Windows Messenger" option box, but OE
ignores this and starts it anyway.

Anyone know how to stop it?

Having Contacts displayed in the left hand pane of OE will also result in
Windows Messenger being launched automatically. Click on the X next to Contacts,
close OE, close WM, reopen OE.
