Autoplay not working correctly

I have a Dell Optiplex 270 running XP, SP2. When I insert a CD with autorun
on it, it will not open up the install package of that CD. It opens up in
Windows Explorer instead. I've clicked on the Cd/DVD drive and checked the
autoplay set up and it is set to "prompt me each time to choose an action".
When I put the same CD in another like machine, it opens the install program
with the approriate app. I've checked the settings on both computers and
tehy are the same. Can someone tell me what I am overlooking?

did you try running the auto play wizard?
