32 bit dos from cd?
is there a way to start computer from cd into a 32 bit console loaded
into ram?
(the prompt you get from -xp safe mode with command prompt option)
xp CD recovery console does that but then one cannot acess (not even
open cdrom door) a different CD and it would be convenient to run a 32
bit command line AV scanner off that CD to check an infected hdd

Most devices, e.g. CD ROMs and USB flash disks, will
work happily in Safe Mode. Note also that DOS was and
is a 16-bit operating system. There is no 32-bit flavour.

If you really want to start your PC off a CD then you should
consider burning yourself a Bart PE boot CD.

Re: 32 bit dos from cd?
Why not just use a specialized bootable virus scan CD?

one can install recovery console and then boot into it and have cdrom
access provided
you allow it in registry previously(set allowremovablemedia) -is there
some trick to allow this when launching rec.console from cd?
