RUNDLL ERROR : NvQTwk

I have a Dell Dimension 8200, with XP, SP2 160GB Memory and 1024 RAM
and DSL connection. I have Comodo for my firewall, AVG for anti-virus
and SUPERantispyware for spyware removal. I also have Spywareblaster
and Windows Defender.

When I logged on to my computer it showed the yellow shield with
exclamation point indicating new updates were available. I clicked on
it and after 3 hours of clicking ok to Comodo pop-ups the updates were
downloaded. However at the end it said the following couldn't be
installed. Unfortunately, I didn't write them down but as I remember
they had to do with Microsoft malware removal.

I also recieved this message "Opps, Comodo has a bug!'

It then requested for the system to be restarted to install the
updates which I did, but it came up with this message after
restarting:

RUNDLL- Error loading NVQTwk Access denied (I have no idea what this
is)

Then Comodo had a series of Rundll pop-ups which I ok'd.

Once all this was done I changed my Comodo settings to 'Paranoid Mode'
and checked to see if there were any other downloads from Microsoft,
but it said that my system was up to date.

I scanned the system with Comodo which found nothing and then scanned
it withSuperantispware which found (4) cookies which I quarantined/
deleted.

I restarted the computer but it once again came back with:

RUNDLL error loading NvQTwk access denied, followed by the same RUNdll
Comodo popups I ok'd previously.

This troubles me as it never came up with this before and I would like
to resolve this.

Since I'm using the other programs for anti-virus and malware defense
am I ok without the Microsft programs?

Should I re-install Comodo just to be safe?

Should I do a system restore?

Thoughts/
suggestions?
Robert

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Check the System log of Event Viewer for Error Reports.

Please post copies of all Error and Warning Reports appearing in the
System log in Event Viewer for the last boot. No Information Reports or
Duplicates please. Indicate which also appear in a previous boot.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Hope this helps.

NvQTwk seems to be part of the nVidia video card drivers. To
successfully install this update, you need to get the install driver
file for the video card maker or nVidia's web site. Then, you need to
de-activate the AVG during the install (as per nVidia's
recommendarions.)
