Hard Drive Partition Software

Hi:

I have a friend who has a Sony desktop with approx 20GB on C: drive and
60GB on D: drive and I would like to consolidate the D: partition into the
C: partition for him.

What is the best recommended software to repartition as described above
including freeware?

Why don't you consider looking into Partition Magic.

Because it's a Symantec product?

Mike Hall's suggestion of Acronis Disk Director Suite is spot on.
