ntfs security tabs missing for harddrive and folders

My computor which was free with a 2 year subscription to aol cannot download
photoshop via the internet because it has no ntfs security tabs for the
harddrive and folders. error message reads "change the write privelages" but
these cant be changed because there are no ntfs security tabs, help!

Is is formatted NTFS or FAT32?

You need to run Simple File Sharing off. to get the Security tab to appear.
