Not Shutting Down
Hello Folks
All was working fine until I installed a new sound card. My machine will no
longer auto shut down, It just gets to to stage of 'Windows is shutting down'
etc. and at this stage I have to turm it off manually (hold button in for 5
secs).

Please could you advise on restoring to normal.

Your help is and always has been very much appreciated.
Thanking you in anticipation.

I'd try a different driver for the sound card (go to the manufacturer's
website), for starters. See if that helps.
If not, check the event logs for errors.

Re: Not Shutting Down
Many thanks. That did the trick.

I am disgusted at myself for not thinking of that in the first place.

Thanks again and best regards
