The icon My Computer is merely a link (LNK file) to
an executable called EXPLORER.EXE. Use
/ start / find / file
to see where this file is stored (default = c:\Windows.)
There are probably backup or earlier versions in
update (hidden) subdirectories in C:\Windows.
If you do not find this file repost here mentioning
1. What system backup routine you use.
2. What antivirus protection you use.
