How to set up a network printer?
Hi,

We have a Brother HL5250DN Network printer attached to a network hub.
I can not remember how to get it to be shared so that I do not have to
turn on my PC so my wife can print to it.

Any ideas?

I've did it once and I seem to remember assigning it an IP address but
that is all I can remember. Right now it is assigned to my PC.

Thanks,

-paul

Product has a network users manual, with a couple configurations shown.

You need to find the manual for it, or look up the manual or help
information at the manufacturers website.

Ask elsewhere

I totally forgot about installing the printer using the installation
cd on my wife's brand new PC! Doh! It found the IP address and now
all is well!
