Easy CD Wits end
I wrote last week about my CD drives no longer being recognized after my
bout with Roxio Easy CD Creator.. I tried all that was suggested including
editing the register.(by the way there were no upper filters within that
register, only lower filters, which I deleted ,as per instruction)..
Being desperate I installed Nero and updated the Nero drivers.. Nero also
will not recognized my drives even though it will refer to the as D;DVD-rw
and EVD-Rom, but will not allow me to access them..(When I installed Nero,
the Autoplay worked flawlessly).?
WMP11 functions normally but also will not allow me to access the Drives?
I saw some entries while I was in the register, that pertained to the drives
but not being that familiar with the code, I left them alone.
Can anyone give me the entries that should be in the register in order for
the drives to work or lead me onto another workable path???
Thanks!!!!

Re: Easy CD Wits end
Did you try using System Restore to rollback to a point predating this mess?
Or better yet, restoring your system backup from your backup drive?

Re: Easy CD Wits end
Yes, but my system no longer restores..
I am in the process now of saving all info I can possibly save before
completely re-doing my hard drive, of course ,of which I am trying to
avoid..
