Copy all / any included files on the USB hard drive off of it.
Then you can use the XP standard Disk Management system "carefully" to
delete the USB external drive's partition. Then, you can create the
new partitions. Please note that Microsoft has placed a physical
partition limit of 32MB for FAT32 partitions created in XP.
As for EXT2, this is a Linux partition format mainly. Not sure
Windows can use this partition type.
