Help me partition USBEHD

Hi everyone.
As the title suggests, I need a little help.

I just purchased a 1TB external drive.

I would like 2 partitions of +/- 500GB.

One is needed to be FAT32 for my PS3/Windows swaps.

The other needs to be EXT2 for my PVR/Windows swaps.

Any tips would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks.

Copy all / any included files on the USB hard drive off of it.

Then you can use the XP standard Disk Management system "carefully" to
delete the USB external drive's partition. Then, you can create the
new partitions. Please note that Microsoft has placed a physical
partition limit of 32MB for FAT32 partitions created in XP.

As for EXT2, this is a Linux partition format mainly. Not sure
Windows can use this partition type.

Re: Help me partition USBEHD

OK I have some answers for myself... o_O

http://www.fs-driver.org/
(WinXP can use ext2 formats)

Partition Magic 8.0 allowed me to make the partitions.

So far so good. Haven't tested with PS3 or PVR yet
but Windows can access both partitions.
