Have Windows XP Pro. New Dell Precision 490 with USB keboard.
After each restart, I have to go into Control Panel - Keyboard Properties
and reset the repeat rate setting for the keyboard. It will not save the
setting. Any ideas?

I tried this, but XP still won't save my keyboard settings.

Perhaps some 3rd party "privacy software" or "anti-malware" software
installed? Those may prevent regisitry keys from being changed/saved.
