mini slide bar

I have a "mini" slide bar that comes on all the time, it is very small and
has an arrow on both ends, it will move the page up or down, it will move
page left or right depending on which way it is going, the is an arrow on
both ends, if i push the mouse fast it will activate, on my maps it will make
them zoom in or out, it is really annoying. This sound famillar to anyone? a
real pain since it is random and i cant control it very good. Is this some
feature i can turn off. help!!! i have X-p and a VOSTRO 1500, it has done
this since I purchased it. tahnks

It is your Mouse software, most likely Logitech.
