Saving Photos
Hi: Someone in another (Yahoo Group) asked this question - he is saving
photos, but his system saves them as as a large .BMP filesize. Is there a
setting to change that will save them as a smaller .JPG filesize?

Thanks...Mike

Re: Saving Photos
Well, he right-clicks on the image, chooses 'save' using WinXP, and they are
probably from Yahoo Groups, and thats all I know. It isn't me. I must tell
you that I also see that some of my own saved images are in .bmp format
too...Mike...someone suggested that he clean out his temp files. I cleaned
mine out, and they all save as .jpg now.

BMP does no compressing so there's no loss in resolution; most other
formats cause you to lose quality. If he doesn't mind losing the
quality, Irfanview is one free program that will allow him to change the
format (and extension) of the image.
