Help Please With User Account and Norton Security
I am running Windows XP SP2 and Norton Security under my administrator
account. I set up a user account for my granddaughter but Norton will not
run under this account. I contacted Norton, and they suggested that I try
installing Norton under the user account, but that does not make a lot of
sense to me. Is there a way that I can instruct Windows to let Norton to
run uner a user account?

tia,
ridgerunner

I would install it to the %allusersprofile/Shared Documents folders

Re: Help Please With User Account and Norton Security
Its likely that when you initially set up the PC you are using the Default
Administrator account as your user account rather than creating an account
with admin privileges, and as such Norton is only installed for this account
rather than all accounts

Re: Help Please With User Account and Norton Security
I do not have a folder called exactly "allusersprofile". Is this something
I need to create?
I tried to install to "all users\shared documents" and Norton balked.

Re: Help Please With User Account and Norton Security
I originally installed Norton using my account that is set up with
administrator rights. Norton will not allow itself to be installed by a
user. Any other ideas would be most appreciated.

Re: Help Please With User Account and Norton Security
start/run, type:
%allusersprofile%

(I mistyped it without the trailing %)
