Setup cannot copy the file htable.xs_

I am upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro SP2. I have ran memory tests and
everything is ok. I have a Toshiba M35X and get this error. When I browse
out to the CD I see the file "htable.xs_". I have tried THREE differnet XP
CD's so I know it isn't a scratch on the CD. I have even copied the entire
i386 folder from the XP CD and burned it onto another CD and still get the
same erroe, even though it shows up when I browse to the CD. Why won't this
file copy and what can I do to fix this?
