re: pc crashed, lost all oe6 folders
my pc crashed, so i wiped out my hard drive. everything is up and running
like new, but i seem to have lost all my folders in outlook express. i do not
remember if i had chosen to save everything on a server, but if someone could
guide me as to what i should do, it would be greatly appreciated. i'm
running xp home with sp2 on an alienware area-51 machine. thanx.

You are looking for a set of *.DBX files.

Inside Outlook Express - Backup and Restore:

Re: pc crashed, lost all oe6 folders
thanks for replying Mark. It didn't work though. I do not have any .dbx files
in my computer. I erased my hard drive and lost all folders, and i followed
all directions to the link you provided, to restore all folders. But it did
not work. I did this once before, and I was able to restore folders lost, but
i think im missing something this time. thanks.
