Need sound driver that is compatible with Windows xp2

Please explain what I need to do, I have downloaded several drivers but xp2
will not let me install them.Why Im saying xp2 is the problem because I read
that on one of the sites.Please help!! Thanks

You need one compatible with your sound card or MB, Go to manufacturers
site.

Drivers that work in XP and XP SP1 should also work within XP Sp2.
Head over to the sound card / motherboard manufacturer and locate /
download / install their provided driver.
