Disable NetBios over TCP/IP option by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Network Connections, on the Wireless
Right Click and select properties.
On the Wireless Properties Window Click on General Tab then highlight the
TCP/IP and click Properties.
On the TCP/IP properties click on Advanced Button then on WINS Tab and make
sure the Netbios over TCP/IP option (Radio Button Not Checked) or click on
Disable NetBios Over TCP, also you can use the Default Radio Button (try each
one if the other didn't help) then click [OK] then [OK] to close and Reboot
your machine, do you still see the workgroup?.
If you do try these Commands:
Open a run command and type in:
cmd.exe click [OK] a C:\ prompt window will open type in the prompt command:
SHOWGRPS domain\username
NET VIEW
NET STOP MSHOME
NET GROUP MSHOME /DELETE
Or NET LOCALGROUP MSHOME /DELETE
C:\>NET LOCALGROUP spud /DELETE
Or Uninstall the TCP/IP and then restablish the Internet connection setup:

Note: the above will make you lose the connection and you start from
scratch on connecting to the internet?.
HTH.
