Profile Corrupt, Unable to get into Windows

I used my PC last night and shut it down without a problem. This morning,
however, I was unable to access it. When I initially tried to start it up, I
got the message about the profile being corrupt. However, I am unable to
access Windows even in safe mode. It gets to the blue screen with the XP
logo and the message "Windows is starting up..." and it just stops. If I try
the Last Known Good option, I get the message about the profile being
corrupt, and it just stops at the blue "welcome" screen. Either way, I can't
even get in to create a new profile. Is there another method I can use to
get into Windows?

If runnnig chkdsk /r does no good...
from the prompt, you should try typing LOGON, to see if the default
Administrator account can get access to the User Accounts app, to create a
new profile.
