In reading additional postings here learned about the “Event Log”
In going to my computer’s event log I learned the my issues may have stated
when I first loaded the TurboTax, but that the fatal effect did not surface
until later.
Six Errors were noted in the log starting on 3-6-08 When I started working
with TurboTax:

Error 2
Resolve Partial Assembly failed for Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC. Reference error
message: The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.
Error 3
Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Deluxe
2007\32bit\MFC80.DLL. Reference error message: The operation completed
successfully.
Error 4
Component identity found in manifest does not match the identity of the
component requested
Error 5
Syntax error in manifest or policy file "C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Deluxe
2007\32bit\Microsoft.VC80.MFC.MANIFEST" on line 4.
Error 6
Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\TurboTax\Deluxe
2007\32bit\QBSendError20.dll. Reference error message: The operation
completed successfully.
On the next day (4-7-08) the following error was noted:

The driver nv4_disp for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an
infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or

I GUESS MY ISSUES STARTED THEN ON 4-4-08.
I also checked the stats of the Device Drivers and there were NO YELLOW
QUESTION MARKS noted here ...
