"On the Advanced page I dont see java."
If you don't see Java listed then Java is either not installed or is
damaged.
"It is not in the Advanced tab"
Simply an untrue statement.
Read this page and say sorry, chasuk:
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml
From that page:
----------------------------------------------
Please follow these instructions to enable the Sun JRE though your Web
browser:
Internet Explorer 4.x and Up
Click "Tools" --> "Internet Options"
Select the Advanced Tab, and scroll down to "Java (Sun)"
Check the box next to the "Use Java 2" version
Next, select the Security Tab, and select the "Custom Level" button
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets"
Make sure the "Enable" radio button is checked.
Click OK to save your preference.
