Master Volume Defaults
I noticed my music sounded funny so I decided to check the volume
controls. When I checked I found that every slider was moved around and about.
Is there a way to reset to the default values (hopefuly w/out having to
re-install the drivers)? If re-installation is the only option, can someone
either give me a detailed explaination (I'm parinoid...) or just a screenshot
of the default settings (so as I can just slide them back into place)?

Re: Master Volume Defaults
Whatever sounds good to you is fine. There is really no default level. Vista
sets everything half way up, just as a guess at what might be right. Most
speakers have physical setting controls on them anyway.

Re: Master Volume Defaults
I am running XP in fact, and here's a general overview on how the bars are:
Master Volume: Medium Balance; Full Volume
Wave: Full Right; Max Volume
SW Synth: Between Leftmost and Middle Mark; Full Volume
Front: Full Right, Max Volume
Subwoofer/Center: Medium Balance; Full Volume
Rear: Full Left, Max Volume
Aux/Line In 2: Medium Balance; Max Volume
CD/Video in: Medium Balance, Max Volume
Line In: Medium Balance; Max Volume

My usual method of listening is through headphones just in case that helps.
Also, I took a screenshot of how the settings are as of now I just don't
know how to put up here...

Thanks.
