Failure to Install XP
When I attempt to install XP SP2 (slipstreamed with my SATA driver) it goes
through the copy files and then when it reboots it hangs. It doesn't even
give a BSOD, just some random characters across the screen.

I am pretty knowledgeable about computers, but this one (after 2 days) has
me completely stumped.

Re: Failure to Install XP
Sounds like the slipstream did a bad burn of the media. You will have to try
again to know.

On the reboot, is it booting from the CD or the hard drive?

Re: Failure to Install XP

Slipstream went fine, and on the reboot I am trying to reboot on the hard
drive.
