Service pack 3 woes

Hi;

I Installed XP Service Pack 3 on my Compaq computer, and now it will
not boot at all. It crashes back to the "safe mode selection screen"
after trying to boot. Nor can I get it to boot using any form of safe
mode, nor "use last good configuration".

I have been attempting to manually remove SP3 via the command line,
but although I can see the correct executable using the "dir" command,
I cannot get spuninst.exe to execute from the command line..

HELP!

\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst\spuninst.exe

After the SP3 install,you should have had CHKDSK C: /F Set up to run..
Either way,boot to xp cd,recovery,in recovery type:Fixboot Agree,type:
CHKDSK C: /R
