You can also try this - amazingly, it works about 50% of the time, so
it's worth a shot:
RENAME the shortcut to anything else, and then try to delete.
You can also try this: Go into "Search" and type in the box: ***.lnk.
That will bring up all the shortcuts on your computer. Look for the one
you want to get rid of, and try deleting it from there.
