Can't access Windows Firewall
I need to make a change to my firewall settings. However, when I go to
"Windows Firewall" on the Control Panel, I get the following message:

"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall
settings."

Yikes! I don't know what happened and am at a loss as to what to do to
remedy this.

Can someone help me out? I'd really appreciate it!

Re: Can't access Windows Firewall
You will probably find that the Windows Firewall service is not started.
Maybe it will allow a manual start.
start/run, type:

services.msc

see Windows Firewall

Is there another firewall, such as Norton Internet Security, or McAfee?
If so, they may have disabled the Windows firewall.
