Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

I need to uninstall a stubborn programme and am turning to the Windows
Installer Cleanup Utility to do the job. I have successfully used it in the
past. I downloaded and ran it which installed the programme. When I run it
again it simply uninstalls itself. I go back and forth like this, not being
shown any programme list like it used to.

I am on XP Home SP3 and use Zone Alarm, AVG8 Free, AdAware, Spybot Search
and Destroy, and Windows Defender. I get the feeling something is blocking
the process but cannot find what. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank
you.

You probably have some registry Permissions problem.
