System Restore Question

I have 1096mb allocated in System Restore. I have restore points going
back two months, some created by me, and some created during a
program install or update.
Will System Restore continue to create points until the 1096mb is used up
before starting to eliminate old points ? TIA

I had a similar problem. It turned out that a setting in Norton
Utilities had to be deactivated before System Restore would work.
