Switching between different logon accounts

When I first log in to my account everything is fine but when my wife goes to
switch to her account it flashes to the home screen but goes back to logon
screen. If we log into her account first on startup the same thing happens.
We can't switch back to my account. When I first installed XP on my machine
this was not an issue, it just started today.

Log on to your account, create a new account for her, and copy her old
profile to the new one.
