how to undo cancellation of a user

I have somehow lost an account on my comp. I am not an expert computer user
so i need some help trying to figure out what i have done wrong and how to
fix it.
Previously i had myself as a user with administrative privliges and i also
had an account for my girlfriend(without privliges) Before when i started up
my computer, it would give me two user for signing in(starting windows) Now,
somehow, my account is gone and the only option is my girlfriends
account(with no administrative privliges) So i am wondering if there is
anyway to retreive my account and how to do it. Thankful for input on this

Boot to Safe Mode (F8 on restart), and the default "Administrator" account
will be on the Welcome screen. Use it to recover your corrupt profile.
