How do I find what programs have been uninstalled?

Hi,
I need to find out what programs have been unistalled on a pc. I know I can
look in the event viewer by using Eventvwr.msc but what I am looking for
could be after the oldest log date.

If there are any other utilities or ways to find this out it would be much
appreciated.

You could examine the registry, but any references for previous programs
could have been purged, & if that is the case your out of luck
