have a box in the middle of my desktop that states, warning, your computer
is infected with spyware.......
There is no box to close it, and I can not click on it to delete it.
I have changed the background, and it stays right in the mniddle of the
screen. I have booted up in safe mode and it does not appear, however I can
not find it, to remove it.
I have run ad-aware and Symantec, and removed anything that was on the
computer, but I can not get ride of this box. any suggestions?

Use my Remove-it software, it will remove that malware from your system.
Download it here http://pcbutts1.com/downloads/tools/tools.htm

Here are a couple of antispyware programs you might want to run.

SUPERAntiSpyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/

RogueRemover FREE
http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php

Here's another program you might find helpful.

HijackThis
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5554.html

Run the program and save the log. There are a number of web
sites where HijackThis logs should be posted. Here are some of
the more popular ones:

Aumha Forums - Click on the HijackThis forum
http://forum.aumha.org/

HijackThis Logs and Analysis
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/foru...lysis-f22.html

HijackThis Logs and Spyware/Malware Removal
http://forums.whatthetech.com/Hijack...moval_f27.html

Spyware Warrior HijackThis Logs
http://spywarewarrior.com/viewforum.php?f=5

Geek to Go - Malware Removal - HijackThis™ Logs Go Here
http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Malwa...-Here-f37.html

These forums are staffed by volunteers who have demonstrated
their ability to interpret these logs and provide safe and
helpful assistance. Also, the forums are moderated, adding a
degree of assurance that the advice given is valid. Please do
not post a HijackThis log on one of these newsgroups. You have
no guarantee that the advice given would not make a bad
situation worse.

Finally, take a look at the advice on this web site.

You should be listening to Nepatsfan. Although he's not an MVP, he
almost always posts good advice here.

"The Real Truth MVP," on the other hand, is an out-and-out fake. He
claims to be an MVP, but constantly refuses to provide the slightest
evidence that his claims of being an MVP are true; nobody here
believes him. His site is filled with software that he apparently
"appropriated" from other people's work, and his advice is always
suspect, at best. There are reports of his having p*orn on his site,
although I haven't looked for it and can't personally attest to its
being there. He constantly changes his posting name (he was originally
PC Butts) in an effort to escape people's killfiles, and that behavior
is one of the standard ways of identifying a troll. You would do well
to ignore anything he says.

Do you really want to trust someone that was banned from posting
directly to Microsoft Usenet servers, someone that has posted links to
pornographic materials on HIS WEBSITE, who's website is in the MVP HOST
Block list, and who provides a tool for your use that will block access
to reputable anti-malware sites without telling you he's doing it?

And do you really want to trust someone that has had to change their posting identity after being busted by MS as a fake MVP?

Considering you posted the same questions 3 times you don't trust anyone.
Mine works and since nobody else has offered any advice on how to fix it
except me and nepatsfan you choices are limited. I know what my program does
because I wrote it.
