Flash Player
Having problems.
Needed it for YouTube viewing.
Said it wasn't working.

Did an uninstall.
Did an Install.
Got an error message:
Error 1904.Module
C:Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash9b.ocx
failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact
your support personnel.

Tried to troubleshoot at the Adobe site but couldn't do any good.

Help please.
Thanks,
Doug

RE: Flash Player
From Adobe:
Error 1904: flash.ocx failed to register (Flash Player, Flash Paper)
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=kb400366

Note:
In Solution 2: registry check, its only up to
ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.8, you're installing version 9, so include
ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.9

In solution 4: Register the flash.ocx manually.
3. It should be: Type regsvr32 Flash9.ocx

Re: Flash Player
Thanks Rey,
ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash.9 already exists.
When I do I made sure that I am the Adminstrator with Full Permission.
When I do 3 I get an error message "Loadlibrary(Flash9.ocx" failed - The
specified module could not be found."

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks again,
Doug

Re: Flash Player
That should have fixed the problem. Did you see the other links on the paage
relative to the problem. These two:

Troubleshooting system registry issues that prevent Flash Player installation
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...0116&sliceId=1

Download SubInACL from Microsoft to fix permission issues that prevent the
Flash Player installation

RE: Flash Player
Hi Ray,

When I try to load Flash Player I accept to Install but nothing happens
after that.. no error and no success. What should I do?

I have downloaded SubinACL as suggested on the Adobe site but I can't find
how to run that, or did it run with install?

Any help very much appreciated.
