Can I buy an additional license for my copy of office 03 student?
Hi all,
I have a copy on CD of Office 2003 student and teacher license. My friend
would like Microsoft office installed on her machine. So the question is:
Can I use my CD to install office on my friend's computer and buy a license
from Microsoft?

The idea is to install Office cheaper than we can buying another copy of
what would now be Office 2007.

all advice appreciated!

Not from Microsoft. The program has been discontinued. There are a few
left from 3rd party sellers on Amazon...includes the cd:

Most of those were good for up to 3 installs. I know the current one is.

Yes, 3 installations, but they all must be within the same household.
Unless the "friend" is also a room-mate (and a presumptive family
member) the EULA would permit this.
