Recevied a fatal error on startup in XP

When I tried to open XP after a simple restart, I received this message:


STOP: 0xc000021a STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED

{Fatal System Error}

The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xaaaaaa (0xbbbbbb 0xcccccc)

The system has been shutdown

I am told that I need to install IE6 service pack. How can I install it if
I cannot boot the system or get passed the blue screen error page?

Try last know good configuration:
Restart your computer.
When the machine first starts before windows load tap the F8 key repeatedly
until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu. Select the
option "Last know good configuration" using the arrow keys. Then press enter
on your keyboard.
