Problem with "Search" option
I recently tried to un-install McAfee from my home PC. But since then, I
can't use the Search option on the Start Menu. On the Search toolbar, all
that comes up is the Search Companion puppy. I don't get the dialogue box
with the search choices. I've tried to use "System Restore", but that's not
working either. All I get is a blank window. I'm afraid I've deleted or
moved some files by mistake. I also noticed that, when I enter some internet
sites, I can't see all the navigation buttons there.

No content in the search menu.

Click Start, Run and type:

regsvr32 %Windir%\srchasst\srchui.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll
(From a post by Ramesh)

Several dialog boxes are blank:

Transparent drop-down Menu and disappearing menu text -
