only 1 window operating
Not sure if someone out there can help me....I'm not very computer literate.
My system is only utilizing one "window". When I'm in a sight or
email....and click on a link, or minimize that one window to search for
something else, it automatically takes over the 1 window I was working on. I
can't access more than 1 window.

Give this a shot.

In Internet Explorer: Tools | Internet Options | Advanced. Uncheck: Reuse
windows for launching shortcuts.

Close all programs. In Windows Explorer, or the Control Panel:

Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to {NONE} Internet Shortcut and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Select 'open'.
Click Edit.
Uncheck: Use DDE

Reopen OE or IE and it should now open more than one site/link at a time.
