Logon local profile issue
We are expereincing an issue that I am trying to track down with the user
profiles.

Once in a while our users will not get their local profle when they logon.
They get a temp profile.

The event logs one of the following errors.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another process. for C:\Documents and Settings\*removed*\ntuser.dat

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another process. for C:\Documents and Settings\*removed*\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows\\UsrClass.dat

If they log off and back on they get their correct profile.

It's not consisent. May happen only once a week or even longer.
It started happening 3 to 4 months ago.

Any clues?

I'm suspecting one of three things:

1. UPHClean tool
2. Symantec
3. Recent patch
