when i start up windons installer runs and then it runs thur and stops then
reports to look for ccCommen in installation package(*.msi)

Looking up "ccCommon" in google send me to several support sites discussing this same problem.
Appears that this is a problem with an incomplete installation of Norton affecting the "Live
Update".
The Symantec response was to use the Norton Uninstaller Tool to remove all traces of Norton and then
to reinstall Norton.
If you downloaded Norton from the Web, I hope you saved the installation file to your hard drive and
did not choose the "RUN" option.
