if you have to reinstall SP3 you don't have to start with SP1 or SP2
and then download SP3 again. The slipstream process also includes
critical updates and allows you to customise the process so that
installation is automatic -- you don't need to sit there and answer
questions while it's installing. You can build your parameters into
the slipstream disk.

I have WindowsXP Professional SP3. I ran Norton update this morning and then
tried to run Defrag. I get the following error message
c:\windows\system32\dfrg.msc
Access denied.
Any suggestions.

gothcha. i do not have discs for sp1 and sp2. i d/l them from windows site.
