cannot logon Account restrictions
Dell 4300, Windows XP sp 2 home edition
In the process of trying to get rid of spyware I changed something in the
registry. I was trying to get rid of the file vtstt.dll.
Now I can not logon in either regular or safte mode.
Is there a way to fix this from the repair console?
Thank you,
Loretta

Also I now cannot get into the recovery console. It wants a password.

Re: cannot logon Account restrictions
If you cannot fix the registry, you will have to install Windows again.

Re: cannot logon Account restrictions

How about if you press the F* on Restart and select " Last Good Know Config"
does this take you to the Desktop, if it did try system restore to an earlier
date and then try to rid of the spyware or you can send us the name or any
error messages caused by it.
