Removing Windows Components without a disk
I have a Dell with a restore partition, whenever I try to remove
components that I do not need, it asks for a disk. I browse to i386 but
that does not work. What to do?

Thanks

Your "Installation Path" can be reset.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\... .

Windows\Current Version\Setup:
Service Source Path .

Windows\Current Version\Setup:
Source Path .

WindowsNT\Current Version -
Source Path

change them to the directory with the XP Files For Pro Edition:

GPEDIT.MSC Local Comp. Policy/Comp. Config/Admin. Templates/System "Specify
Windows Installation file location"

Need some more clarification on this? I do what? I hate messing around
in the Registry. I have Home Edition as well.

Thanks
