For some reason I accepted the option to de-install Norton Go Back and
was then able to reboot successfully. I've now reinstalled Go Back and
all is still ok.

My daughter's Advent 7088 took a routine Windows XP upgrade a few

We get the option to start in safe mode or to go back to last good
configuration but that makes no difference.
It then proceeds to the Norton Go Back progress bar and we've tried
with that to "go back" but to no avail.
It then goes to XP progress bar for a few seconds and then just
hangs.
Any suggestions?
