xp repair

after recovery i can open windows, but desktop not working. So i able
to open all functions through Control+Alter+delete ( Task)
To solve above problem what i have to do. I have no xp CD

To perform a reapir installation you will need a cd

in task manager find
the process explorer.exe
and right click to kill it.

then on the first tab
run explorer.exe to
build your desktop.

if the above works,
then the problem
you have is related
to the registry.
