frame by frame advance won't work

I have used Movie Maker for 2 years with no problems. For our business we
need to be able to import a video and then frame by frame advance until we
get to a specific frame then we take a picture of that frame then put that
picture on our website. It has worked perfectly until now. We can only
advance frame once then it stops advancing. We drug clip to timeline which
will advance it frame by frame but when we take the picture it is extremely
blurry. Thank you!!

Which property? When I click on properties it gives me a number of different
catagories and values. Thank you.

Is it a wmv video file? dv.avi? Mpeg, divx.avi etc
