Narration
Other than deleting all the AUDIO/MUSIC tracks is there any way to add
narration in the style of "directors commentary". Id like to comment on the
music used as well, but seems pretty pointless if I have to delete it all. Is
there a workaround that is known.

As an experiment...try the following.....

If you save the project in the .wmv or .avi
video format...and then reimport it and drag
it to the timeline (like a new project)...the
Audio/Music track will be clear. Now you can
add your narration to the Audio/Music track
and the previous audio will still be intact on
the Audio track.
