Compression when saving in DV AVI format
Dear All,
I have 2,900 Kb MSWMM file and when finished
save it in DV-AVI (PAL) format,it becomes 4,400,000 Kb.
Can't Movie maker compresses the size during saving the
file into movie format or any better ideas to reduce the
AVI file size wihtout omit the video/audio quality.
Any help is greatly appreciated..

Rgds,

Shiro

=================================
The .mswmm file is the project file...the file
size is small because it does not include the
source files. When rendered as a movie the
file size would definitely increase.

Re: Compression when saving in DV AVI format
You cannot compress any file without losing at least some of the quality.
What file types do you have in the movie?
If they are dv.avi then sticking with dv.avi until you make your final movie
would be best, ie, save as dv.avi and import into your dvd authoring app to
make your dvd.
If it's going on YouTube then opt for one of the wmv formats.
